It is pertinent to mention here that senior journalist Hamid Ali Khan’s Group clean swept in the annual elections of Sialkot Press Club Sialkot, held here on Thursday by ballot first time in the history of Sialkot Press Club. This panel clinched all the seats by knocking out the rival Anwar Bajwa Group. According to the official results announced by the Press Club Election Board, Humayoun Iqbal Malik was elected as Chairman, Abid Hussain Mehdi as Senior Vice Chairman, Tariq Javaid Anjum Vice Chairman-I, Syed Shahid Ikram Vice Chairman-II, Dr. Shamas Javaid General Secretary, Khalid Lateef Joint Secretary and Imran Suhail Sial Finance Secretary. While, Haji Naseem-ul-Hassan Sadiqui, Danish Khan, Dr. Arshad Ehsan Elahi, Dr. Shahid Riaz and Muhammad Jamil Chaudhary were elected the members of the Executive Committee of Sialkot Press Club.
