All senators from Punjab elected unopposed

LAHORE, Feb 18 (APP): All the eleven senators from Punjab have been elected unopposed. An official of Election Commission Punjab told APP here Wednesday that those elected un-opposed on General seats are PML-N’s Zafar Ali Shah, Mushahid ullah, Pervaiz Rashid and Raja Zafar ul Haq, PPP’s Jehangir Badr and Malik Salahuddin Dogar and PML-Q’s Ch.Shujaat Hussain. On Women seats PML-N’s Najma Hameed and PPP’s Syeda Sughra Imam were elected. On Technocrats seat PPP’s Muhammad Kazim and PML-N’s Sajid Mir were elected unopposed. Rest of the candidates withdrew their papers after understanding between the major political parties in the country.
