Gilani greets newly-elect PPP senators from Punjab

LAHORE, Feb 18 (APP)- Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has felicitated the newly elected senators of Pakistan People’s Party from Punjab. Addressing the PPP parliamentarians meeting at Governor House here Wednesday, he said that all the PPP senators have been elected unopposed in Punjab. The PPP parliamentarian board’s meeting had elected as Senators- Jahangir Badar, Malik Salah-ud-Din Dogar, Syeda Sughra Imam and Kazim Khan, he said, adding that they were very competent and dedicated personalities, who rendered great sacrifices in the party’s struggle for restoration of democracy.
